Terms of use

1. The service

JengaPOS provides cloud software for point of sale, stock, credit, purchases, and related shop tools. Plans, trial length, and prices are shown at registration and in Platform settings.

2. Your shop account

• You must provide accurate shop and owner details.
• You are responsible for staff access and passwords.
• Each shop’s books are separate from other shops on JengaPOS.
• You must not misuse the platform or attempt unauthorized access.

3. Trial

New shops receive a free trial as stated at signup. After the trial, continued use requires a paid plan. Features may lock if the plan stays unpaid past any grace period.

4. Payments

Subscription charges are collected through CashPay prompts to the phone you provide. The plan is marked paid only after the prompt is confirmed. Shop till payments (cash, mobile money, credit) stay inside your shop and are not JengaPOS subscription fees.

5. Your data and content

You own the business data you enter. You grant JengaPOS the right to host and process it to provide the service and support. See our Privacy policy for details.

6. Availability

We aim for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance or network issues may affect access. Keep offline backups of critical records where your business requires it.

7. Suspension

JengaPOS may suspend a shop for unpaid plans, abuse, or security risk. Staff see a suspended message until the shop is restored.

8. Liability

JengaPOS is provided as a business tool. We are not liable for lost sales, stock discrepancies, or decisions made from reports, beyond what applicable law requires. Our liability for paid subscriptions is limited to fees paid for the affected period.

9. Changes

We may update these terms, plans, or prices. Material changes will be reflected on this page and, where practical, communicated to shop owners.
